It was love at first sight. His rain soaked shivering body sought shelter under the tree outside her window. Their eyes met; their worlds merged into one. Gradually, she knew one day she’d have to tell him why she was always behind the grilled window. She realized that she could no longer hide the truth.
The day he insisted to see her in person she mustered up all her courage to face him; she could feel her world crumbling piece by piece. As she dragged her limp self on her wheelchair, she noticed his smile did not fade an inch.
