I am eagerly waiting for the moment to face the limelight with my heart whipping a zillion emotions. I rehearse the beats of my tabla in my mind, almost ready to give the last performance of my life.
My life of 84 years flashed in front of my eyes. Even in grave depravity, my mother never stopped me from following my dreams. I achieved what my mother identified as a spark when she found me drumming my tiny fingers on a waste bin when I was three.
And now I stand facing a million people showcasing the magic of my fingers!
