A Fairytale

The voice at the other end of the phone sounded resolute and optimistic. How am I still shaken by the sound of the truth, right in front of me? I knew how much this meant to me right now- the consonance, the familiarity and the empirical conformance.

Should I call him again to display my waving excitement? Or should I just start crossing the dates for my impending wedding? Oh! I am hearing the wedding bells ringing in my ear already.


Somehow, every once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.
